So, here is my first video, a cover of Billie Holiday's "I'll Be SeeingYou". If you have a request, you can leave a comment on the video on youtube/or twitter/ and i'll consider it for sure . xo midnight traindon't you ever just want to get on a train at night, going somewhere? i do. Izis: Near Waterloo Bridge, London, 1950. From Izis: Captive Dreams - Photographs, 1944-80. thanks crashinglybeautiful studio with shadwell....had an absolutely lovely time singing with the very talented Aaron Shadwell who is a singer-songwriter from Boston. He asked me to come down to Q-Division Studio the other day to sing harmonies on a version of "Doves Cry" that he was filiming (full crew, lights, camera action!), with an absolutely crack band of studio musicians. Sounded awesome, and I'll post when I have the video....I just hope I had a good camera hair day. ha! photo cred to Ben Zecker, who I was sending annoying text messages to while he was playing the keys. three cheers for multitasking! check aaron's music out here most glorious night! Most glorious night! -photo by ansel adams...not sure the date or title. |
